Music is my life! As the owner of the Rockwall School of Music, my goal has been to make this your one-stop place for all the most popular type of music lessons. Whether in-person or online lessons, we've got you covered! Under one roof you will find lessons being taught in person or online. Choose from piano, guitar, singing, drums, musical theater, violin, viola, cello, bass, ukuele, and more. All of our instructors are university-trained and have a pristine background check. We provide someting for anyone between the ages of 4 yrs old - Senior Adult age. Morning, afternoon and evening lessons are provided six days a week. RSM has been serving families in our community since 1996. We've been chosen and the Best Music School/Studio in the Rockwall Area for the past four years by readers of Living Magazine and have been nominated as for the 2019 National Music School of the Year. What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We focus on teaching the music the student wants to play or sing! Obviously there are some basic skills needed to be proficient at any instrument or with singing specific styles of songs. However, we move through the fundamentals quickly so students can begin applying what they have learned to the songs they want to play. Online lessons now available.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our teachers are university trained. My wife and I are the owners and we both hold bachelors or music degrees as well as our masters in music. Our entire adult life has been focusing on teaching music to children, teens, adults and Senior Adults.
