About
Our instructors and staff have years of musical training and teaching experience and are well established in the area. With their input and through research of various music education programs, we have integrated study plans and techniques to help our students maximize their musical instruction time regardless of age and musical skill level.
We teach music because we love, live and breathe music. We want others to also experience the joy music has brought into our lives. At grove music school we’ll make every effort to make sure every student, from toddler to adult, will find a nurturing and relaxed environment in which to excel in their musical endeavors.

How did you get started teaching?
Groove music school is born out of a dream and a necessity to provide the best environment for musical instruction in the Sugar Land area. A graduate of Berklee College of Music in Boston, Gonzalo Arjona, the academy’s director, understands first hand the importance of a quality musical education and the tools needed to provide it. We aim to provide not only a space where our students learn complex musical concepts and proficiency in their instrument, but also one where they can feel free to explore their creative juices in a safe and rewarding environment.
What types of students have you worked with?
We work with student of all ages and welcome those with learning challenges.
