What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in contemporary guitar from one of the most prestigious music schools in the world: Berklee College of Music in Boston. I have Taought for more than a decade, worked as a performing and touring musician, and recorded albums.

I started in high school and I've never had a job that wasn't teaching or playing music.

All ages, Pros, the disabled, aspiring college students, you name it.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
One of my students came to me knowing no guitar and asked me to help him play and sing his favorite songs at his own wedding. 2 months later, he did it! That was really cool to see, and she had no idea!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure they know what they are doing. Bad habits can be very hard to undue and you do not want to waste your time!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Think about what your goals are and what you would like to sound like!
