About
I have been teaching in Dallas since 1997. My teaching styles differ according to each students personality, style and concentrated needs. All region orchestra and All state orchestra audition preps are offered each year from June-November.
I teach all levels and have taught Piano, Violin, and Viola. I focus on fun lessons but also challenging because I believes that fun lessons are easy to gain young students interest, but it often lack to give them motivation. During my lessons, I often challenge my students, let them be self-motivated and become a better musician with proper techniques and posture with their instruments. Playing pieces and songs are only a small piece of playing an instrument. In my lessons, I also teach proper basic to advanced music theory, and ear-training. I haves students from age 4 to retirement age. Early beginner students and high school students preparing for college music majors. Each year, students prepare for their annual recital, and experience to perform on the stage in front of 150+ audience.
Private lessons are a type of formal instruction in playing the instruments. Typically, a student taking private lessons meets a music teacher for one-on-one training sessions ranging from 30 minutes to one hour in length over a period of weeks or years. During lessons, teacher will show students how to sit or stand with the instrument, how to hold the instrument, and how to manipulate the fingers and other body parts to produce tones and sounds from the instrument. Private lessons are part of both amateur music instruction and professional training. In amateur and recreational music contexts, children and adults take private one-on-one lessons to improve their playing skills and learn basic techniques. I welcome all levels and all age groups to start today! Please do not hesitate to contact me for any questions.
