I love teaching all ages and from beginner to advanced students, there is always something to learn and having a proper teacher will keep you on task as well as eliminate any problems early on to progress smoothly.
In any style that I teach you will learn how to find your space in different musical situations, in addition to learning songs, as well as how to learn songs so that you can master any technique and style with ease!
Graduated at Las Vegas Academy for the Performing Arts and Languages, UNLV in Jazz Performance and Musicians Institute in Hollwood, CA
I love exploring the instrument with students of all levels, there is always more to discover! There is much to learn, even for the teacher when we examine subtle details to simply playing music together, we ultimatly find out more about ourselves. Knowing that someone will know, feel, explore more than they did before lessons and will take those discoveries with them throughout their lives.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
With new students I like to assess where they are on the instrument, get to know them a little bit and determine what their goals are with our lessons. From there, I will discuss how our lessons will be spent. We will determine the basics, while still having some fun along the way since the guitar is such a great instrument for all levels!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My education with the guitar started with proper guitar class lessons in High School, then transferring to the Las Vegas Academy of Performing Arts School to major in the guitar where Classical and Jazz styles were focused. I also had ealry introductions to performance, music theory and recording techniques.
I then attended the University of Nevada Las Vegas for two years and majored in the Jazz Program studying with Joe Lano. Here I furthered my studies in music theory and recording as my minors.
I then desired to broaden my horizons and discover where my skills were in my outside interest in blues and rock by attending two years at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA studying with the likes of Dave Weiner, Dan Gilbert and many others that the school has to offer. It was a fantastic experience learning how professionals in the music buisness apply their skills to fit many situations succesfully.
