About
We love teaching piano, and we have a wonderful program that will inspire you and give you the step by step guidance needed to make your playing dreams a reality! Each time our teachers assign you or your child a piece, they will give you the tools to learn it. No need to struggle at home, because you will learn how to practice in the lesson. Playing is fun and it also takes time, dedication, and persistence, but good training makes the path smoother. My program includes performance, theory, ear training, technic, and music history, in classical, pop, jazz basics, and for most anything that is written on a score.

We love helping the student progress week by week and year by year. It is amazing to see their confidence and skills grow. We also love helping busy parents, by traveling to the students' homes! It helps them accomplish their work at the same time that their student has lessons.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My goal with each student is to work at their pace and motivation, to help them learn to read and understand music. We gradually build a foundation in 5 areas: theory, technic, performing, sight reading, and ear training. Awards are given along the way to motivate them. I teach each concept with lots of repetition, so that it sticks. Method books are used for beginners, and then we branch out to other fun music.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelor's degree from WSU in Piano Pedagogy (teaching.)
25 years member of Music Teachers National Association, where we have monthly education meetings.
