• Students will develop basic piano technique, skills, and appreciation.

• Aim to inspire students with classical music, but also feel incorporating other genres that spark the student's interest is beneficial-this could include anything from: Popular music, Jazz, Rock, Country, Rag-Time, etc.

Training:

• Several years of private piano instruction from: concert pianist Lenora Ford Brown of the University of Utah, top pianist at a Sterling Staff International Competition. Have also studied with former International Bachauer Competition competitor Kira Merzhevskaya.

Accomplishments:

• Won 3 honorable mentions on the international level of the annual music Composers Guild Competition in 3 separate years for 3 separate piano pieces.

• Won subcategory, "Utah Best Keyboard Composition" one year in the annual music Composers Guild Competition.

• Was recently invited by the National Concert Band of the United States Air Force to audition in person for their pianist position in Washington DC.

• Have been a regular pianist at The Viking Yurt restaurant in Park City Ski Resort for the past 8 years: www.thevikingyurt.com

Have Accompanied:

• David Archuleta, as well as Dallyn Vail Bayles of Broadway Touring Company, as part of an annual Christmas concert at the Capitol Theatre, & played with one of Michael Buble's touring groups called ''Naturally 7", as well as Kevin Olusola of The Pentatonix, in the final musical number of the Christmas concert one of those years. -
