What is your typical process for working with a new student?

My first lesson is an assessment of eye-hand coordination, pitch & rhythm recognition, recall, ability to concentrate and follow directions. I enjoy connecting early reading development to note reading and have assisted many young children with improving their literacy skills.

Then I schedule the lesson.  I encourage private and group weekly lessons.

realize that music study is delayed gratification and takes
time and parental support

time commitment, allowing introduction to various instruments to find the right fit; I suggest piano, violin, guitar, drums and percussion
