What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Initially get a feel for where the student's level is and plans lessons that will best help them to progress.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am in my 4th year at UVU as a Music Major. I hold certificates as a Sibelius and Pro Tools User.
I am also an NRA certified shotgun and rifle instructor.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$15 - $40 per hour. Prorated based on services to be provided.
How did you get started teaching?
From a young age it seems I was often called upon to help explain topics and concept while in class. From that I started helping my classmates with tutoring. Now I teach professionally and I love it.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find the right fit. Music lessons should be fun but also challenging. Find a teacher was committed to their own musicianship as well as your.
