Music is my life, and actually find it sad whenever I hear someone say "music is just an ordinary, everyday thing, just like the car or the weather. I enjoy it, but I don't care to think it has special importance in my life." It really tears me up inside. I don't think music is just another subject someone can study, it's a way of connecting to the world spiritually, that you can share with others, or call your own. It brings a purpose into your life when all else seems hopeless. We want to provide every possible avenue for an aspiring musician. With the wide variety of students and instruments, we can create an ensemble they can be a part of to play the music they love, it could even be even a full orchestra given the right amount of students!
