Eva Barry Piano Studio
About
Hi! My name is Eva, and I have taught piano lessons for over 7 years and love to see my students progress and find fulfillment in playing music. I have extensive experience teaching kids ages 5-15 and experience teaching adults.
I believe in meeting students where they are. I follow a collaborative learning philosophy and believe in working with my students to set goals together and support them in achieving those goals. From flashcards, to engaging games, to composing their own music, I believe in finding what motivates my students and working with them to support their development as well-rounded, fulfilled, and confident individuals all while learning to play the piano.
I teach proper technique, note-reading, performance skills, music theory (I would consider myself a music theory nerd!), and utilize music from a variety of genres (classical, sacred/hymns, pop, etc.) to help engage my students and diversify their learning.
I am also proficient in Spanish and offer lessons in Spanish.
Se ofrecen lecciones en español también.
I look forward to making music with you or your child!
