What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Every student is different. I teach based on personal skill level and experience. Depending on what style they want to learn, I tweak lessons accordingly.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am a certified audio engineer, and have been playing guitar for nearly 15 years. I have co written songs for many local artists, and produced many as well.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

$20 for a 30 minute lesson.

How did you get started teaching?

I had people expressing interest in having me teach them.

What types of students have you worked with?

All types, interested in all genres. From kids, to adults.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

Im just about to release a solo album that I recorded almost entirely myself (bass, guitar, keys, vocals, mixing etc.)

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Find someone who is knowlegable of the style you are eventually wanting to play.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

If they want to play acoustic or electric.

How much time they have to practice.

What there reason is for wanting to play guitar.
