We allow our students to have a choice in music they play. Any appropriate top 10 artist or song if they like to keep them excited, motivated, and passionate to learn to play. We offer traditional curriculum and technique by qualified instructors who make learning and playing FUN! We emphasis beginning to learn to perform and not just sit there and play.
Sharing my knowledge and experience and teaching is so much fun! Watching students learn, grow and gain a passion for music and their instrument is very fulfilling.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Gain an understanding of their skill level and begin curriculum where appropriate to their level.
Three things:
1- Learn to sight read music sheets (quick chord sheets, tab & notation).
2- Technique. Hand/finger position, strumming technique.
3- Learning music from artists and songs that the student enjoys and is motivated and inspired by.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
David Cooke is an acclaimed commercial and theatrical music producer and multi-instrumentalist. He has written and recorded score for 33 Off Broadway Theatre live stage play productions. And written dozens of commercial music for Larry H Miller Group, Telemundo/Univision, Jet Blue Airlines, and many more. Also David has produced for many artists and entertainers locally in Salt Lake City. David teaches music lessons of many different instruments and vocal training/singing lessons. Also does Songwriting composition classes, and Performance Coaching. David teaches curriculum in sight reading quick chord sheets, tab and notation. David always encourages learning performance of the instrument from day one rather just sit there and play. David encourages learning to play passionately and gaining a love for music and the instrument.
* Nathan Minert is a virtuoso. Nathan holds a bachelor degree from Snow College in music. Nathan teaches Woodwind, Brass and Double Bass (Upright bass) and electric bass. Nathan is qualified for conducting orchestra. And is very qualified to teach children songs of their choice on the instrument of their choice!
*Brad Lord is a percussion/drum instructor. Brad holds a bachelor degree in jazz music. Brad also is seasoned with Latin beats, rock, hard rock, blues and jazz. Brad is a seasoned instructor and delivers students to love to learn and play drums, hand drum, congas, djembe.

$10 per week for group ensemble student lessons.
$25 per week for individual student lessons.
$30 per week for advanced student lessons.
$40 per week for Songwriting and Composition lessons.
$50 per week for Performance Coaching & pro sound system usage.
