Ken is a consummate professional and has taken the time to teach me music theory as well as the mechanics of how to actually play guitar. This is incredibly important to me as I hope to someday compose music. Ken is consistent in his approach and really "gets" how to teach. He knows how to communicate technique in a supportive yet disciplined manner so the student truly gets the most from the session. Cannot recommend more highly! SCG Alexandria, VA
Ken is very knowledgable about the guitar. He can be fairly patient.
I have been taking lessons with Ken for almost 2 years and could not be happier! I have learned so much with in that time frame, much more than I ever thought I could learn. He's a very patient and supportive teacher that always encourages me to do the very best I can do and to progress at my own pace. I highly recommend him for anyone interested in taking guitar lessons.
I would listen to their goals and experience. I plan lessons based upon their objectives.
