Welcome! With over 15 years of self-taught experience, I bring a real-world, hands-on approach to guitar that connects with students on a practical level. My teaching centers on building strong fundamentals — proper technique, rhythm, and music theory basics — so that my students develop a foundation they can build on for life. I specialize in acoustic and fingerstyle guitar and love working with complete beginners, guiding them from their very first chord to confidently playing songs they enjoy. Because I learned guitar on my own, I understand the challenges self-starters face, and I use that insight to create a clear, supportive path that formal methods often overlook.
