I am a professional singer, songwriter, pianist , guitarist with 2 CDs out of my original songs produced by two famous producers; Peter Rafelson ( credits; song writer for Madonna , Stevie Nicks etc. ) and Dito Godwin ( credits producer for No Doubt w Gwen Stefani )
I have 20 years experience teaching ages 4 to adults for private lessons in piano, music theory & composition, & voice.
I have a bachelor degree in music composition, piano & voice having studied in USA & Italy.
I teach in Italy every summer and in Alexandria VA during the school year. I've taught private music lessons at Montessori School for 6 years and in my home studio and in other's homes for 20 years.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I work at the individual's pace. I have a very inspiring approach to encourage the creative spark. Along with piano lessons, I teach my stidents music reading, theory, notation and melody writing.
