If you aren't sure how to pick the right music teacher for yourself or your child, the Washington Conservatory takes away the worry, by having a well-vetted faculty of award-winning performers and highly credentialed faculty who are dedicated to teaching students of all ages and levels of ability and gearing their teaching to match the needs of each student. We are one of the only 15 community music schools in the United States that have met the rigorous standards to be nationally accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Community and Pre-Collegiate Arts Schools (ACCPAS.)

The Washington Conservatory is a non-profit organization that exists to serve at the highest level. We offer private lessons, classes, and ensembles at Glen Echo Park with extraordinary caring faculty, offer a free public concert series in various area venues, and a free outreach program for disadvantaged immigrant and low-income children in Montgomery County, MD. We are dedicated to diversity, equity, inclusion, and excellence.

    Faculty have backgrounds as award-winning artists, have concertized around the world, and/or earned degrees from outstanding institutions of higher education.

    Yes.  Students are asked to purchase lessons through the remainder of the 18 week semester Sept - June.  However, they have a 3 week trial period during which they may chose to withdraw and request to have a refund for the remainder of the lessons. In the summer, new students can enroll in as few as 4 lessons.  Lesson rates per lesson x number of lessons (and 1 time yearly $30 registration fee)

    30 minutes: $59 per lesson

    45 minutes: $87 per lesson

    60 minutes: $110 per lesson

    All faculty have been playing since childhood and their talent, dedication, and love of music propelled them to become professional musicians.
