I’ve been playing guitar for over 10 years. I was in percussion from 6th grade through the end of high school, and joined the Wilson Memorial High School Drumline as a Freshman. I offer professional lessons to any age, and I come to you! I attend in local open mics in Charlottesville and Waynesboro, and am familiar with the music scene. I learned to play acoustic guitar by myself, so my services will be very different compared to what other traditional lessons are like. I’ll be focusing on mainly core fundamentals, such as chord playing and picking.
My goal is that I want to prove that traditional lessons are not the only method of becoming a brilliant musician. I want to exceed what you think you can learn, without having those "core" values most people think you need to go through.
I don't think of this as a job, but as a way to connect with people on a musical level. In my freetime I'm creating music with my band, so this is just another way for me to involve myself in music, and meet new people who have the same love for it as I do.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
If you only want a few sessions, then the amount of material I'll be covering will be significantly less than say, a few sessions per week over a fixed period of time.

Over 10 years of experience.
Percussionist 6th grade through 9th grade.

.50c per mile driven.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
I'm only available if I come to you.
Mondays and Thursdays I'm unavailable.
Schedule one week in advance.
Any time between 12pm - 8pm works for me.
