My focus is teaching classical guitar, Brazilian music, and basic chords.
I'm a graduate student at guitar performance at JMU, bachelor in guitar at UNIRIO (a Brazilian federal university) since 2014. During the last 5 years, I received more than 8 prizes in music competitions around Brazil.
I've been playing guitar for 17 years already and being a concertist since 2012. I played in several concert halls in Brazil, also recently in a music festival in Finland.
I had classes with Uruguayan guitarist Maria Haro, also master classes with Odair Assad (Brazil), Denis Azabagic (Bosnia-USA), Pedro Rodrigues (Portugal), and others.
I've being teaching for three years, using my experience as a classical guitarist to develop my student's skill/techniques that can be used not necessary only with classical music. In addition to that work, I like to enlarge the student musicality, making him/her to have a broader conception of the music. I also prepare students who want to become concertists, and/or do exams to universities.
Besides the classical experience, I have a long experience with Brazilian music genres such as choro, samba and bossa nova that I would be willing to teach.
Anna is very good with my daughter. She incorporates music the student likes as well as more technical pieces.
Get to know what kind of level the student is, making a plan of technique's study that will improve the student skills, and make a plan of what kind of repertoire he/she wants to study, adapting to their level.
Students with all ages, since six-year old children to sixty-year old adults. Every kind of levels: beginners to advanced students.
