About

One of the goals when I teach piano lessons to adults and kids is to teach them the basics and fundimentals of how to play the piano. While doing that I also like to teach them songs that they enjoy from the radio or songs they enjoy from movies. I also like to approch teaching musical concepts and theory concepts through games and inovative ways.

One of the best parts about what I do is when a student gets or understands something for the first time. The aha moment when the light balb goes off in there minds . I have the combined experiance off teaching for 11 years and getting a BA in Music from George Mason Univeristy ( January 2004 -May 2008) and my mastors in piano pedagogy graduate Fall 2011 . In my masters program I learned about different methods to teach both kids and adults the piano .
