I began piano lessons in the 3rd grade, and have been playing for 13 years. I took private lessons for 9 years, and took a college level private lesson for one semester. I charge $30 per half hour and $50 per hour. First visit is a trial run and is a half hour free lesson.
I love teaching. I enjoy making learning fun and engaging for students. Ultimately I am passionate about people learning new things and becoming passionate about what they are doing.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I teach beginner students. I do home visits and will walk the students through technique, performance and theory books. We will begin with hand exercises on the piano, followed by a review of what they have been working on, followed by some theory lessons and closing with new assignments. I will recommend curriculum, however, you can chose any curriculum you like. First class is a half hour trial and will be free.
