Founded in 2003, Mason Community Arts Academy is located in Fairfax, Virginia and serves the surrounding areas. The Academy is an extension of the George Mason University's College of Visual and Performing Arts, connecting the community with the University's talented faculty, students, alumni, and local teaching artists. They offer a variety of programs including acting, music, visual art classes and private lessons for all ages, along with enrichment and skill-building workshops. Each year, the Academy introduces new programs and outreach activities, serving around 4,500 students annually.
