My teaching approach:
Studied music at VCU and Longwood. Specializing in rock and metal, with fundamentals of blues, R&B, and jazz. My approach is personalized to each student, and involves exercises that simultaneously develop dexterity and knowledge of the fretboard. The exercises are coupled with music theory and sightreading (as necessary), then these skills are applied to learning your favorite music.
