Audrey's Music Room
About
Hello! I am one who has loved music my whole life and have a love of teaching. I hold a Bachelors in music from UNCGreensboro School of Music. I also have had the pleasure of taking Suzuki teacher training from an internationally known teacher trainer, Mary Craig Powell and have been trained to teach Suzuki piano books 1-4. In addition, I have been trained in teaching Music Mind Games for both levels and love to open up the world of music theory in a fun and educational way through this game oriented way of teaching. Due to my love of teaching, I have been teaching since 2003. I would love to hear from you and help you experience the exciting world of music in a new and inspiring way!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I typically begin by learning about my student as a person by discovering their interests and loves in life. Then I discover what their prior knowledge in the world of music might be. I begin wherever this might be and we begin a process of discovery into the world of music!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Having played my instrument since the age of 6, I desire to bring the enjoyment to others in the least intimidating but well rounded educational experience possible. With this in mind, I have taken numerous training classes for Suzuki books 1-4, training classes for Music Mind Games and hold a Bachelors in Music from UNCG School of Music.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
The cost is $160 per month, based on a 4 week month, which includes 4 private lessons, 1 Group class and a Recital.
How did you get started teaching?
My family saw the love of music I had and desired me to share this with others. I took their encouragement, began training, then teaching, and fell in love with teaching.
What types of students have you worked with?
All ages and backgrounds!
