Hello!
I am a pianist and piano teacher with a passion for helping students discover the joy of playing piano. I believe that learning to play a musical instrument is an incredibly fulfilling journey. Learning how to play piano will have a positive effect on one's mental and physical growth and enrich their life in so many areas. I enjoy teaching students of all ages and of all levels. I'm classically trained with a Master's Degree in piano performance, and I have taught piano students for over 20 years. I tailor my teaching to the students' different learning styles, and to help each student to reach their own unique potential. Over the years, I have created a method that builds a solid foundation both musically and technically which accelerates my students' learning progress. Important aspects of music studies such as music theory, technique, sight-reading, and music history are important components in my lessons with customized learning focus and plans for each student. Lessons are professional and fun. Music choices are tailored to meet each student's goals, keep them motivated and encouraged. My goal is to not only teach the students to play the music they enjoy, but to give them the tools to appreciate and foster their love for music. My studio is set up with a Steinway grand piano, music library, and professional equipment to have the exceptional audio, video quality and multiple viewing angles when teaching remotely. I look forward to the opportunity to talk to you more about your goals in your piano lessons, how to build upon your current music knowledge you may have, and excel from here.
