Fischer Piano Instruction

I have been teaching piano for 50 years as I started teaching in high school . After studying at the renowned 'Eastman School of Music' in Rochester, NY. and studying with Juilliard Professors I found my passion for playing the piano. My teaching focuses on my student's strengths and reasons for learning. I ensure that students are taught from a personalized curriculum that brings them closer to their goals while emphasizing the music fundamentals that will prepare and enrich them for life. I am passionate about piano, improvising and song writing. I believe I can engage any curious or dedicated student with this eclectic mix of compositions, perspectives and experience. I have taught at Schools of Music around the country such as The Carlsbad Music School in CA and the Academy of Children's Music in Philadelphia and Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY. Highlights are I played with Mickey Rooney, Itzhak Pearlman, Pennsylvania Ballet, and American Idol. I won the top piano competition in all of New York. I also wrote music for my Children's Book, Randy Kazandy, Where Are Your Glasses? highlighted on Radio Disney. I bring all my experience to my students , to engage and turn them into lovers of music.
