About
I have been practicing Boxing for about 4 years now. I started my Boxing career in Brooklyn, NY when I moved there. I've come back to the Seattle area earlier this year. I began Boxing due to an incident that happened to me at 16; I was robbed by a stranger on my way to a bus stop at night. The very next day I took up self-defense courses and have stayed passionate with this craft since then. I currently teach kids (4+), teenagers, adults and seniors. Boxing is my passion and I love how it increased my self confidence, my mental and physical strength, and my amibtion is at an all time high. There are no limits--the only limit is the one you set. I love pushing people outside of their comfort zone, teaching and perfecting form and technique, increasing cardio conditioning and improving endurance/strength.
I am a 21 year old female instructor, I love what I do and it shows. I want to empower other young women, survivors of abuse, people who want to get fit in general and improve their overall health and well being.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What is your "why"? Why is it important for you to get into a sport that involves taking a punch to the face and giving one back? Why is it important for you to get healthy? Why do you want to pursue this. There's gotta be a motivating factor before getting into a sport like this.
