About
My name is Trevor, and I have a deep love for sharing the foundations of music during the first critical years of music education. My journey as a teacher began with producing albums by Boys and Girls Club members in Boston, and I have since developed curriculum for several music schools over the course of my career. I studied the Shearer Classical Guitar Method at Duquesne University, as well as Kodaly technique while working at Orpheus Academy of Music.

Mr. Trevor was my sons first guitar teacher- which happened to be during the pandemic, meaning all lessons were on Zoom. To do Zoom guitar lessons with a kindergarten (and then first grade) boy is a skill! He was very professional, helped him stay on task, and was also patient with him. Now my son is wonderful at guitar, having learned all the basics under Mr. Trevor for two years!

Trevor is a very accomplished musician who loves to share his talents with others. He taught my daughter to play the guitar and was able to increase both her love of music and her technical skill ability.

Trevor was exceptionally patient, kind, and enthusiastic teaching our daughter beginner guitar. Unknown to us at the time, our daughter was going through early symptoms of Tourette Syndrome when she started lessons. Trevor was instrumental in getting her to a happy and calm place to let loose and learn. He was great at starting off in a relaxed, fun environment, and he helped her take initiative in creating games and strategies to get better. He made lessons fun with positive reinforcement while also working on fundamental/technical skills. She continues to play guitar and speaks fondly of Trevor.
