Hannah has lived in Kitsap County her entire life. She started playing piano at the age of 5, and soon began training classically. Ever since she can remember, the only thing she wanted to do in her life was work with music. By the time she was 15 she knew she needed to start thinking about pursuing music as a career. Not only has she been taught and trained in classical piano and music theory, at the age of 12 she began playing keyboard for the youth worship team. Though it was a struggle transitioning from sheet music to chord sheets, she soon learned and excelled greatly. With the help of her teacher and Worship Pastor, she moved up to the adult services. Now she serves 2 or 3 times a month with ease.Though piano is her main instrument, Hannah taught herself guitar around the age of 13 and drums at the age of 16. She has become quite skilled in guitar, and is now learning finger picking techniques and songs. As for drums, she knows the basics, but aspires to practice more often and eventually pursue drum line.As well as playing a multitude of instruments, she has been singing her entire life. Hannah grew up in children’s choir at church; speaking and singing in the few plays they presented. Though it wasn’t much, it jump-started her interest in musical theater. She has acted in 4 musicals so far, having lead supporting roles in 3 of them. As much as she would enjoy doing theater on the side, she aspires to pursue music first.Lastly, Hannah is learning the art of writing and producing her own music. She has always loved how producers and songwriters take the sounds they hear in their head and make it come to life. The process is exhilarating, and she is excited as to what comes next in this area of her life.Hannah believes music can inspire and empower anyone who chooses to listen. She realizes the mental and physical healing power it can have. Never hearing a more beautiful sound, she wishes to pass this empowerment and inspiration on to others. Her experience, skills, passion, and ambition are what make her a great musician and mentor.
