Hi my name is Josh F. I've been playing guitar for 38 years. I've toured 38 of our United States, everywhere but the East Coast, Alaska, & Hawaii. Every club in Seattle, Studio 7, Central Tavern, & El Corazón, to name a few favorites. Never played Showbox Market. Pretty much played every venue in Washington. Toured Canada, Mexico, Brazil & somewhere else in South America. My teachers over the years have been: Mike Starr & Jerry Cantrell of Alice in Chains, Chris Cornell of Soundgarden, Howard Leese of Heart & Bad Company, my brother in law, Brian McGarvey a student of Chris DeGarmo of Queensryche, and my favorite guitarist, who has taught me the most and the best guitar player on the planet, Brian(B.J.) Jorgensen. He isn't famous, but he is the best! I can teach anyone to play anything. I could teach you the root of your favorite song in 10 (1 hour) sessions. Even if you've never even picked up a guitar in your life. Just think of it like this: IT ONLY GETS EASIER, YOU CAN ONLY GET BETTER, NOT WORSE! I love everything from Michael Jackson & Elvis, to Sublime & Slipknot, Blake Shelton & Faith No More, to Paramore & Pantera. Alice-in-Chains, Soundgarden, Van Halen, Ozzy & Randy Rhoads, Guns N Roses, Motley Crue, Tool, White Zombie, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Sweetwater(The Seattle Band from the 90's). METALLICA will always be my favorite. I grew up with Alice-in-Chains, I used to Hang out@ Naff studios, it's where all the Seattle bands would practice, including a couple different bands I was in once I learned how to play. I learned from Mike Starr & Jerry Cantrell. Mike would teach me almost everyday, Rest His Soul. He was the greatest guy, and a great guitar player. So whether you want to Country it up like Willie Nelson or SHRED like Dimebag Darrell, I would love to be the one to pass down, not only the skills but the knowledge I've learned from some of the best.
