About
I am an experience guitar teacher and guitarist. I have a Master's Degree in Jazz Performance, and have been a professional performing guitarist for six years. I have experience playing many styles of music, so I can help you learn whatever music you are interested in. I teach beginning to advanced students on acoustic or electric guitar. I also teach electric bass and ukelele. Students I work with will recieve a solid musical foundation through working on technique, theory, and learning songs. I will travel to your house to provide lessons.
I am a passsionate musician, and I am a lifelong learner. I want to share this passion with future musicians and help current musicians advance their skills.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
With a beginning student, I work with the Hal Leonard Guitar Method, or whicher beginning method the student already has. The student will learn how to read music, basic chords, and basic technique. For more advanced students I work on scales, arpeggios, more advanced chords, and more advanced songs. I can help students with music they are working on in their school jazz band or their personal bands. I'll work toward whatever goal the student has.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Master's Degree in Jazz Performance from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

I travel to the students home. Here are the prices:
30 Minutes: $35
60 Minutes: $55
