It's the perfect time to schedule activities for the upcoming school year. Then again, it's always the perfect time to learn how to play!

A bit about me:

I began by teaching myself to play before undergoing formal training, and as such the way I teach is a bit different. I've found that starting out with inspiring and nurturing the sort of creativity and expression that one learns from the process of exploring and creating music (as opposed to starting out with rote memorization and repetition) tends to foster a true passion in the learner early on. Once that fire is lit, students begin to crave knowledge and growth and it's at this point I will start to introduce more traditional approaches such as music theory, sheet music and endurance exercises in order to establish the framework needed to express their inner musician.

If you or your child has already begun formal training, then worry not as we can pick up where you left off and develop the skills formally. We can work together to find the solution that's most comfortable for you or your child.
