About
I have over fifteen years teaching experience and have a special curriculum for kids aged 6-8.
I like working with people and I especially enjoy finding ways to make it easy for people to make their own acoustic music. I see it as my way of making the world just a little more human and real. :)

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to meet with the student, take a look at their instrument and how they play it to make sure the instrument is a good fit for the student. (Sometimes children come with instruments that are too big and hard to play or not well set-up, so I like to make sure we rule out any problems with the instrument before starting.) Then I like to find out what kind of music the student enjoys. For my little kids, we start with an introduction to the instrument, and lots of easy songs and games. For older kids or adults, I try to pick up wherever they may have left off with a previous teacher to help them move to the next leve.
