About

United Source Muay Thai was founded with potential members like you in mind. Our consistent and constant goal is to uphold the highest levels of professional instruction from qualified coaches in a professional, equipped, friendly, fun, safe and clean environment. We hold to the model of 'quality over quantity'. Our goal is for our members to feel like members of our family and not just another "number" that walks in and out of the door for a workout.

We provide group lessons and accelerated learning (one on one or small group training) for kids and adults. If you are looking for a tremendous sweat and top notch martial arts education we just may be the right fit for one another!

As a specialized school, our flagship program is authentic Muay Thai Kickboxing. An incredibly practical, effective and fun martial art and combat sport primed for those interested in a no non-sense option for self defense, or just keeping in great shape or even sport competition. We also offer supplemental class training in Western Boxing and private or small group training in Filipino Martial Arts. We can proudly say our school/gym, its instructors and coaches are internationally and domestically certified affiliates of world-renowned, pioneering figures such as Ajarn Chai Sirisute (Muay Thai Kickboxing), the late Grandmaster Richard S. Bustillo (original student of Bruce Lee) (Filipino Martial Arts, Western Boxing & Kickboxing), Professor Leonard Trigg (Filipino Martial Arts & Western Boxing), the USA Amatuer Boxing Program and an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. Real deal, real people, real training, real experience, real sweat, real fun!

If you have any questions about our gym, you can visit our website www.trythaiboxing.com, our Facebook or Instagram pages (United Source Muay Thai), call us at (425) 823-4415 or email us at [email protected]. We look forward to hearing from you.

Teaching was never my focus or desire. It became a natural outgrowth of the time spent training and developing personally and professionally. I would assist my instructor(s) with classes and assisting beginners to intermediate students. One thing led to another and one day at the suggestion and encouragement of my instructor(s) I began pursuing sharing martial arts initially as a hobby, eventually evolving into a full-time profession.

All types. Beginners to advanced. Non-athletic to athletic. In-shape to out-of-shape. Self defense focued to sport competition focused.

Seeing students "get it". One lesson at a time. One class at a time. Seeing the camaraderie of our student community. Not events but moments we are very fond of nonetheless.

Be open-minded. Make a commitment to do martial arts for the long-haul. It's great for the body, mind, overall health, necessary awareness and skill-development to protect oneself. Be prepared to invest in quality training and quality instruction wherever you choose to enroll. Deals are great, however, all deals are not always the best "deals" in terms of knowledge, experience, professionalism, etc.

1. Identify "why" you want to train in martial arts?

2. Indentify "why" you want your child to train in martial arts (if applicable)?

3. Identify what you would like or want from a martial arts program/school?

4. Identify at least 2-3 goals or outcomes you would like to experience or accomplish?

5. Identify if you are able to agree to a minimum of two classes per week?  Learning is about consistency!
