For over the past decade I've ensured that students are taught from an individualized curriculum that caters to them and brings them closer to their goals while emphasizing the music fundamentals that will prepare and enrich them for life. Our whole family has taken lessons with Mike: our three kids have studied Uke, Guitar, Piano, and Bass over the past 6 years with him and I even took some Guitar lessons because his lessons seemed so fun! We really appreciate what he has done for our family and the gift of music he has brought to our household. Couldnt recommend enough!!!

We love Mike, my daughter has studied with him 6 years ago and now she has written her own songs and is highly wanted in all the jazz groups at her school.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We feel it out - some students want to jump right in and start learning songs, and some just want to get their feet wet. If the student has had experience playing, then we spend some time going over what they know thus far, and how we can best proceed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree from the University of Redlands, and was the winner of a performance grant that allowed me to study at the Royal Academy of Music in London. Currently working on my Masters in Music Education to further my skills in Conducting.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $100 per hour, and if you pay for multiple lessons I give a discount.
