The Guitar Lounge

I teach the way I learned: by playing the music that inspired us to pick up the instrument in the first place. I help students learn the nuts and bolts of technic, theory and ear training by playing the songs they love. Each lesson is customized for the student in a fun, low-pressure environment. I understand that my students either go to school or work during the day so I want music to be an escape for them, not a job. My main goal is to inspire new players to be awesome musicians.

I played in multiple, rock, jazz, blues and metal groups in Seattle for over twenty years before moving to the Spokane area where I opened my own lesson studio. I've recoded and produced dozens of records for my own groups and others in many different styles. I've also had over 25 years experience with guitar repair and maintenance.
