Helping people develop their grappling skills wether its for self defense, fitness goals or self esteem purposes. The goal is to give my clients the tools needed to learn technique, overcome barriers that they thought impossible and take on adversity in a controlled setting. Through my experiences as a 2009 IKF world champion, college wrestler and amature mma fighter i have gained the knowledge and competency to teach others the dicipline and drive to meet their fitness goals.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
New students will go through 4 weeks of guided practice- with more of an emphasis of the basics in a one on one setting.
This will allow instructors to guage the baseline of new student.
Tequniques during this phase will consist of the basic fundamentals and introductions to combat concepts.
New student will be allowed to train with a partner once they have passed the basics test and they are comfortable enough to do so.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Hands on experience consist of title in mma, kickboxing and wrestling.
10 years of BJJ on the mat experince.

10 years of coaching at numerous bjj gyms throuout WI.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching while trainning for kickboxing and MMA bouts. Here my wrestling skills stood out and i was able offer my expertise in a group setting.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have conducted children's classes is bjj, wrestling and kickboxing. I have also tought 1 on 1 classes for adults.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Finding a teacher/coach who is as invested in you as you are in yourself is key to sucess. A great teacher is one who is able to understand each of his/her student's specific needs and set the bar a little beyond their skill level to help them improve everyday.
