Both group classes and individual lessons are available. Recreational music making classes focus on playing for the sheer enjoyment of making music, as opposed to progress or forced practice.
I love playing duets and trios with my students and other pianists.

Most students discuss what they are looking for via phone or schedule an interview so we can discuss goals and specific pieces or styles to focus on.

How did you get started teaching?
I began teaching while studying music as an undergrad at St. Norbert College. I have been teaching in Northeast Wisconson since 2000.
What types of students have you worked with?
Age 18 months - 6 years I teach KiddyKeys group piano classes.
Age 5 - adult I teach both private and group classes depending on the student's preference.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My retiree class has the best time playing Christmas duets and trios together. It is the highlight of my week.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Every teacher has their strengths. Find a teacher who is mutually a good fit so you can best reach your goals.
