My name is Jean Fredrickson and I have been teaching piano for 30 years. I am a first grade teacher by profession, but my mom and sister were both music teachers so I grew up with music.
I like to play fun music to help keep the students interested and engaged with music. I use a traditional method of teaching using a methods course to help guide all the skills needed to learn piano.
I have references from families if you would like their input.
