My teaching approach: I've been playing guitar and writing songs for about 25 years. Played with several bands in high school, did 2 acoustic CDs and performed throughout college. For the past 3 years I have been focusing on my band, Heavens Have Strayed, singing, playing guitar, and writing most of the material. My influences derive from rock & metal to mellow, acoustic work. I teach all across the genre spectrum. My guitar lessons typically take place in the student's home. Guitar Lessons with me take place in the following areas: I reside in Greenfield & teach students from Milwaukee down to Pleasant Praire. Guitar Techniques: Guidance In Equipment Selection, Fingerstyle, Vocal Accompaniment, Performance, Jamming Skills, Reading Music, Music Theory, Scales and Exercises, Song Writing, Recording and Production, Lead guitar, Rhythm guitar, Open tuning.
