Playing, performing, listening, and teaching music for all ages, levels and styles is how I teach guitar. I have been teaching for over 20 years. I worked for Ward Brodt Music Mall in Madison, Wisconsin for 5 years teaching guitar and bass guitar. I now work from our studio,"Music Cafe" in Suak City, Wisconsin. We have been open 16 years.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Asking about student goals. Checking the insturment and the history of the students relationship with thier insturment. Working with the student to determine the best method for learning and accomplishing thier musical goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied Classcal guitar with Hieme Guiscafre, and Jazz guitar with Rodger Brotherhood in Madison, Wisconsin.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Search for the teacher that inspires you to build the connection and the relationship that you have with your insturment.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Is the insturment in good working order and a good fit for thier needs? Have they been learning on thier own or working with an instructor? Do they enjoy Book learning or unstructured learning?
