What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Trying to find out what genre of music they like and ultimately what they want to do with their instrument and go from there.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I play in 3 different bands around my area. We play a wide variety of music so I can most likely cater to your taste.

Everyone from little kids to 65+

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Find a teacher that fits your budget and is willing to teach you what you want to learn. It also helps if they make it fun!

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

What is it you want to do with your intsrument and what short term goals and ideas do you want to express with that instrument.
