MONIQUE’S MUSIC STUDIO teaches the fundamental of music. These levels include: Beginning, Intermediate, and Advance Levels. The curriculum activities consist of the following: sight reading, music ensembles, music theory, music analysis, music harmony, music business, composition, improvisation, ear training, performance techniques, and music technology.
The purpose of MONIQUE’S MUSIC STUDIO is to enhance children, youth and adults to different genre of music. Also to prepare students to perform and engage by having recitals in front of a live audience and prepare students for the music industry.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
1.My process for working with new piano students is to give an overview and introduction to piano.
2. Skills and evaluation of the student knowledge of the piano.
3. Practice scales and finger position for the piano.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have my Associate's Degree in Music. Along with six year's of teaching experience with differents schools through out the Milwaukee Metroplitan Areas.

How did you get started teaching?
I started with in home students teaching piano lessons and ventured off into a job setting of providing one on one piano lessons.
What types of students have you worked with?
I worked with all types of students beginners, intermediate and advance level students.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I currently participated in the Adult piano night on Tuesday's at Steinway Piano Gallery of Milwaukee. Here the community comes together and play different pieces of classical piano music and other genres of music for leisure.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
My advice will be to the student is to look at the person's passion and commitment, and skills of wanting to teach piano music to others. Also their ablity to teach others the knowledge and skills that go along with learning the instrument.
