Hi, my name is Jose Burruel. I am an enthusiastic and motivating trainer that will be with you every step of fitness journey. I am personal trainer that will help you reach your goals and teach a few new things along the way. I am a Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Kickboxing Instructor, and I do teach boxing.
I enjoy the teaching portion of the process. Being able to transfer knowledge to the client and/or student is very fulfilling in that I teach client and/or student the proper technique to help them reach their goal.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will get to know my client and/or student first. What are their stregnths and weaknesses. Do they have any injuries. What do they enjoy doing physically.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a certification in Personal Training through ISSA.
I have a certification as a Kickboxing Instructor through ISSA.
I have taught fellow collegues how to box for upcoming charity events.
I am also knowledgable in tactical self defense.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I do have a standard pricing system $30/hour. I do have package deals where I charge for the number of sessions. They are as follows:
10 - $250
15 - $375
20 - $500
25 - $625
30 - $750
I do offer couples training.
How did you get started teaching?
It was a passion of mine to teach friends, colleagues, and students the proper forms and techniques of each movement in the exercise. I was self taught at the beginning of my journey and now possess the knowlodge of the movements.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with a different arrangement of age groups: 21-35, 36-50, 50-60, and 14-17.
I have worked with them in weight training, boxing, and body weight style training.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Always have an open mind when it comes to learning the techniques, movements, and pace.
Your mind will quit before your body ever does.
