Hello, I am Scott Sonu (선우 혁), the master instructor of Taekwon Kids in Litchfield Park, AZ.

This is my 3rd branch and I have started Taekwon Kids from Mt. View in Northern California.

I am excited to meet you all whoever is interested in learning Taekwondo, the great martial art from Korea.

We teach authentic Taekwondo certified by Kukkiwon, the Taekwondo HQ and our instructors are all certified professional.

We are persuing excited, fun, awesome Taekwondo that also the same time teaches confidence, discipline, conceturation, and respect.

We have $39 for 4 trial class and a free uniform and a belt.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

New students will learn basic stances, punching and kicking. At the same time, they will receive manners, respect, confidence, focus and team work.


What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I studied psycology as major at college.

I started Taekwondo in 1973 when I was 5 years old, now I am 6th Degree black belt certified by Kukkiwon, the HQ of Taekwondo Korea.


Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

$ 39 for 4 trial classes with a free uniform and a belt.

We have $ 99 per a month special after trial is over for 3 months.

After that, if you want to keep on going to enjoy Taekwondo, we have different payment options for intermediate level and payment options that you can comfortably choose. Please consult.


How did you get started teaching?

Alsmost 40 years of training and competiting in taekwondo, I officially retired from all competitions in 2002. I won many state and national games in sparring.

Realized, I wanted to share my experience with young generation in Taekwondo kwnoledge, I decieded to open up with my younger brother Master Chin Sonu, 5th dan in black belt, who is now running Taekwon Kids in California.


What types of students have you worked with?

Anyone who loves to work out and have fun together!

It doesn't matter if you don't have any experience or not so talented in sports or martial arts.

I have taught more than 2000 students and I do know who to work out with any type, kind, of people

Our demo team's fund raising show at Taste of Asia Gala show at Scottsdale AZ in September 2017.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Learn authentic Taekwondo sanctioned by USA Taekwondo, World Taekwondo Federation (WTF), and Kukkiwon.

We are all certified by them. This is the Olympic style Taekwondo.
