Glitter And Gloves Boxing
About
Hi! I am Amy and I've been in the Boxing/Kickboxing Fitness world for about 10 years. I have found my passion!! I absolutely love helping people and seeing them improve and get to the goals they are trying to reach. I have had 4 Boxing fights so I teach from a real perspective not just something learned off of a dvd... I love to make the work outs fun but challenging.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Having a one on one prior to taking a class is always preferred. But if we can't do that then I work with them during each class as well. I believe in proper form and a great workout!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The past 10 years I have been in the fitness industry. I have owned my own franchisee, gym and now my own boxing program inside of the best studio in town!! I have had 10 yrs of hands on training and am Six Sigma certified.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I currently have several small group class pricing packages available which have specific times. I also have one on one training available.
How did you get started teaching?
I moved her form Atlanta about 6 yrs ago. I came from a formal kickboxing studio and was on the hunt for something similiar here. I started taking classes here and then started training and teaching classes. I realized how much I loved working with different people and seeing and helping with their results.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with people of all ages ..from 6 yrs to 67 yrs old!! In shape, out of shape..
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure that you love what you are doing when getting in shape. Your teacher needs to know how far to push but not push too far. Exercising is all about a positive experience..May be a little uncomfortable getting there sometimes but its always worth it when you are done with class.
