I took boxing lessons from Ronn for a couple years. He is very professional. Always had a great workout prepared for our group. The workout was always a good workout for me. I gained muscle and got some tone. I wish Ronn was still in my area to train me.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

The first thing I do is get you familiar with movement; what kind of moves & what you can actually do comfortably. Then we go from there to fetermine what level and intensity of workout fits your desires and goals. No two people will have a fully similar approach.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I was an a boxing athlete in and out of amateur  boxing from age 7 to 28. I'm a USA BOXING certified boxing trainer of 13 years with safe sport endorsement.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

I keep it simple:

1 on 1 sessions are $35/hour or

2 hour session is $50

Partnered training (2 people, couples etc) is $50 per hour

Training sessions can be purchased in advance with 45 days to complete all sessions

How did you get started teaching?

I got started teaching self defense classes then decided to become a kickboxing and registered certified boxing trainer. The very first time a clirnt of mine ended up in a boxing tournament.

What types of students have you worked with?

Youth boxers, competition fighters & fitness kids

Youth ages 8 to 18, young adults and adults ages 19 - 77

Adults wishing to train in privacy without being forced into gym presence

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

Ringside Tournament - there are so many youth and young boxers in one place getting a travel experience and competing in what they dream to do. Its good giving them those memories and moments

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Get a trainer who will not rush you into any technique, session or desire to compete. Get to know how they are building trust.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

Do you want fitness, competitive skill or both?

How much are you willing to devote to this?

Are you willing to have your own gear; gloves, hand wraps etc? ( better hygienically)

Can you deal with being impatient with yourself?
