Xcel Defense, LLC
About
I teach people how to defend themselves in bad situations. I show you how to effectively use the weapons on your body. Many attacks involve a weapon so I show you how to defend against hand guns, knives, long guns and improvised weapons. The methods I teach are based on Krav Maga. I teach private individual and group lessons in addition to the classes I teach at ASU and Scottsdale Community College. You are welcome to check out my website and Facebook: xceldefense.com

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I typically charge $20 per hour per student if the training is at my business. If I come to the client the rate will vary based on time and distance. I will discount the rate for groups.
How did you get started teaching?
I retired from my long term career and started to teach what I had learned in Krav Maga. I started with college sororities due to the high incidence of sexual assaults on college campuses. It has just grown from there.

All ages from 12 years old to 60. The majority of my students are women usually high school and college age. I currently teach at ASU and Scottsdale Community College. I have also done church groups, Barrett Honors College, Center for Evolution and Medicine, numerous sororities, Village Athletic Clubs, and private individuals and groups.
