Open Door Jujitsu
About
I teach Danzan Ryu jujitsu, a beautiful, powerful, practical martial art. I am a second-degree black belt; I received my black belt in 1991 and I have decades of teaching experience. I teach with kindness, humor, and respect, and I believe that learning is a collaborative activity. I work to find the approach that works best for each student.
In addition to jujitsu and self-defense classes, I teach classes in safe rolling and falling, a skill that can reduce your risk of injury in a fall.
I love doing jujitsu and I love working with students and seeing their growth in the style.
