Kye Harris Music Academy

Welcome to Kye Harris Music Academy, where the joy of music meets the art of teaching. My name is Kye, and I am passionate about sharing the love of music with my students. My journey in music began at the age of four, when my grandmother introduced me to the world of classical piano. Since then, music has been a central part of my life.

Growing up in the vibrant church communities throughout Chicago, I developed my skills on piano, bass, guitar, drums, and vocals. This foundation led me to form a pop-rock band with my brothers, a venture that culminated in a major record deal with Sony Epic Records. Over the years, I've had the privilege of collaborating with renowned producers and artists, including Maroon 5, Fall Out Boy, and Scott Storch, and performing at prestigious venues such as The Today Show, the US Open, and the Staples Center.

At Kye Harris Music Academy, my mission is to ignite and nurture a lifelong passion for music in each of my students. I believe that the journey of learning music should be as rewarding as the final performance. While many focus solely on mastering challenging pieces or achieving specific goals, I emphasize the importance of enjoying the process and celebrating every milestone along the way.
